The history of Prosecco Valdo began in 1926, when a group of enterprising entrepreneurs from Valdobbiadene decided to join together by creating the Società Anonima Vini Superiori: a company mainly dedicated to the sparkling wine production of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore and Cartizze.

The great leap in quality occurred in the early 1940s, when the company was bought by the Bolla family, which would change its name to Valdo Spumanti only later in 1951.

Sergio Bolla, father of the current President Pierluigi, focused on expanding sales both in Italy and in foreign markets, set new commercial and production objectives with the ambition of making Prosecco Valdo known, or rather Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG to all the world. Since then, Valdo has valued the culture of excellence, taste and know-how, determined by work and man’s untiring passion.

It is from this passion that sparkling Garda is born, in which the wine-growing vocation of the area is combined with the mastery and the sparkling tradition of Valdo.

A project that represents the opportunity to unify the territorial image with the symbolic values of Lake Garda: nature, fun, conviviality, lifestyle, culture and beauty.
